HELICAL VISTA PROJECT

From Sidney to the Design District in Miami, where the first international store was opened, designed by Smart Design Studio, of the famous brand Dion Lee, founded in 2009 by its namesake Creative Director: here the new collections find their ideal nest, in line with the other shops of the Fifth Continent.

The helical staircase perfectly reflects and integrates without passing unnoticed the atmosphere of the shop of almost 300 square meters, in which nothing is left to chance: custom furniture in which craftsmanship excellence and modern taste are embraced, inside a space in which neutral tones and clear but clear luminosity of the steel element are combined; here the lines are also clean and essential, loved by contemporary minimalism, are made more dynamic also by the right light design, and challenge some classic elements, such as precious stone materials, and artistic.

The modern and sinuous helical staircase, of considerable dimensions – 320cm in diameter for more than 5 m in height – has been completely made of AISI 304 stainless steel with special finish, with tread and closed rise covered in marble; the lateral legs that follow the soft course of the structure become blinds enveloping and bright, equipped with handrails.

Like the sculptural silhouettes for which Dion Lee quickly became recognizable immediately after presenting her diploma collection at Fashion Week in Australia, the store brings together strong, well-shaped shapes and uniqueness, typical of the sartorial product, elegance that does not want to seem unreachable, materials treated with maniacal care down to the smallest detail. And the helical staircase follows this pattern, which combines tradition and innovation, but with the typical independence of a focal element that stands out and stands out over everything else, while acting as a style connector between spaces.
