HELICAL VISTA PROJECT

Vista Project open staircase with helical configuration.

Ville Lumière (Paris), in the brand new Valentino boutique on Avenue Montaigne, moved by just a few numbers but with a completely renewed look, Jacopo Venturini and Pierpaolo Piccioli – CEO and creative director- opened a space that celebrates the Maison thanks to an evocative, welcoming and rich atmosphere.

The three floors that host women’s ready-to-wear, clothing and accessories for men and an extraordinary red-room in the symbol color, are connected by the suggestive helical.

Every detail, every finish, every chromatic choice in the boutique conveys the history and culture of the Maison, with references to all the collections and decorative aesthetics from the 30s to the 70s, all wrapped in a human-centric allure.

In fact, the atmosphere is warm, enveloping, emotional and full of details, to see and touch: so the spiral staircase with double band structure and closed raised tread, perfectly interprets its role.

With sinuous and soft lines, she appears cloaked in a carpet of multicolored marbles, literally re-dressed in a precious and timeless patchwork dress.

The plexiglass on the sides recalls the contemporary, which is the basis from which the brand starts to refer and enhance what its heritage, history, fashion, crafts.
And it is precisely on the craftsmanship combined with the spirit of renewal that the choice of every detail of the staircase and boutique is based, from brass, ceramic handles to plaster lamps.
Ivory white and transparencies, but also velvety red and lacquered, checkerboard geometries, onyx and marble: the materials and details of the workmanship, as it happens with fabrics, textures and patterns in clothing, create a magical and rich atmosphere, behind which he skillfully worked the artisan hand.
